Do you love to entertain and speak English or French natively?
We’re looking for Berlin-based livestream hosts for our exciting new language learning app, Chatterbug Streams.
Streams allows users to watch bite-sized language lessons live in the app. Each livestream is based on a unit from the existing Chatterbug language curriculum and includes real-time vocab cards, live quizzes and more fun stuff!
The job involves:
– Hosting multiple live streams each day according to our production schedule. (Depending on COVID-19 regulations, either from our studio in Prenzlauer Berg or we’ll set you up at home.)
– Crafting an entertaining narrative out of learning aims for each stream and use this to teach effectively on the fly
– Using our live production tools in real-time to make your streams interactive
– Giving feedback and project support to the Streams team

Requirements
– You’re based in Berlin and speak English or French at a native level
– In addition to the above, you speak German fluently (C1 or C2 level) and have an intimate understanding of language learning
– You love to entertain, tell stories, or teach and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Acting or theatrical experience is very advantageous!
– You’re good at experimenting, improvising and rolling with the punches. This is a new project with lots of room for trying things out
– Experience using live streaming software (e.g. OBS, Streamlabs, Larix Broadcaster) would be very valuable
